New Power Play Juggernaut Driver Featured In Golf Digest Stix Ezine!Power Play Juggernaut Driver in Golf Digest Stix Enewsletter

In the March 5, 2014 issue of Golf Digest Stix Ezine, the Power Play Juggernaut Driver was featured. Hireko Golf Technical Director Jeff Summitt commented to Golf Digest Equipment Editor Mike Stachura, "The Juggernaut is strictly for those four out of five people who really don't care about the rules. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Hireko's no. 1 selling driver this year." Click here to view the original Golf Digest Stix Ezine with the Power Play Juggernaut Driver.

What's all the buzz about the Power Play Juggernaut Driver? First, the Juggernaut has a 515 cc volume, thus allowing it to be a more forgiving head on off-center shots. Secondly, you’ll be able to generate more distance from the tee as the COR effect of the ball coming off of the explosive beta titanium face exceeds the USGA maximum limits too. Does not conform to the Rules of Golf

Great driver Review by John

I have hit dozens of driver heads (conforming and non), this is the best. Solid feel and sound, forgiving on off-hits, and LONG.. (Posted on 8/1/15)

Tired of Brand Name Clubs at Top Dollar Review by Matt K.
Let me start by saying the I've hit several different Versions of PING & Taylor Made Drivers fitted with Graphite shafts. Unfortunately, I've always felt that modern drivers were far too light for me and have never found any consistency with the drivers I've owned. I seriously considered ordering a Custom Driver with a steel shaft to get back to the heavier feel I was looking for. (Note: Steel shafts are typically around 120 grams as compared to standard graphite shafts at 65 grams) I found this site and was immediately drawn to the Juggernaut Driver. and with much diliberation, I ordered the Juggernaut with the Aldila VS Proto 80 (grams) stiff and a Lampkin Utx grip. I'm about 5'8" and had them cut it -1/2" shorter. It roughly took 2 weeks to get the club, but it was worth the wait. It felt great in my hands and felt good to swing, and I could not wait to get out and hit it. I had the chance to hit it 2 rounds before writing this review, and I found this club feels solid at contact, launches the ball at a good angle, and has great distance. During the 2nd round I only missed 1 fairway (that I used Driver) through the first 14 holes. On the 14th hole I smashed a drive down the middle of the fairway, but the club sounded a bit different. While walking off the tee I noticed the shaft had fractured about 2" above the ferrule. I bagged the club and hit 3-Wood the remainder of the round. I did not ground the club or anything like that... so I'm wondering if the shaft had a micro-fracture in it before assembly. Either way I had it re-shafted locally because I did not want to wait 2-3 weeks to get it back. Everything is back to normal now and I'm hitting it long and straight again.(Posted on 6/8/15)
Long & Straight Review by Geoff
Rating 5 Star
The club does not look any larger than the 460 drivers. The set-up view is awesome. The distance comes easy and the club is super accurate! I would highly recommend this club to anyone. Jeff Summitt is a great resource to get advice for clubs and shafts. Thanks.(Posted on 3/18/15)

Skeptical, but blown away Review by JJ
Rating 5 Star
I went and hit a Ping G30, Taylormade SLDR. and Big Bertha, and turned out to be sold on the SLDR or Ping. I looked at the Juggernaut a couple times, and wasn't really sure if it was hype or legit. I also am a research junky, but couldn't find any non biased reviews or feedback on this club. After laboring over the decision, I decided what the heck, I'm going to buy one and see... I purchased the club with a UST 55 GOLD standard flex, and Golfpride CP2 wrap. It took about a week to get, after receiving it I ran to the driving range. I typically hit a 225-230 yard average drive with little roll. Wow this club is allowing me to push 260-265 consistently with the same swing. I love the black face, as it shows where you hit the ball and wipes off clean. For comparison the SLDR allowed by to hit about 15 yards greater reaching a distance of 240-245. Never dreamed the Juggernaut would exceed the SLDR's performance but I'm truly blown away. I hope to see more reviews, it would of made my purchase decision easier. (Posted on 8/15/14)
Best driver for your money Review by RW
No sliding weights, or other gimmicks that claim to help your swing. Its big, its forgiving and straight as and arrow! Played my first round with it the other day and already lowered my score by 10 strokes and got to use my 9 iron and 60 degree for most approaches instead of my 7. Even my miss hits were playable!! No wonder its hard to find it in stock!! (Posted on 4/25/14)
